Catholic Women’s Fellowship of Pittsburgh exists to gather, equip, and unleash women to live boldly as disciples of Jesus Christ and His Church.
What We Are
Inspired by the call for a New Evangelization and the efforts of On Mission for the Church Alive, we started CWF to create new opportunities for women in our diocese to meet Christ, and grow in relationship with Him while in community with other women. This initiative has the blessing of Bishop David Zubik and the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Taking the Blessed Mother as our Model of Faith, we seek to incorporate into our organization her virtues of: Ardent charity, Divine wisdom, Lively faith, Profound humility, and Heroic patience.
St. Joan of Arc
A model of holy strength and courageous femininity, St. Joan of Arc is the patroness of CWF. Her ardent love of God and desire to do His will, along with her passion and bravery, are virtues that we plan to seek collectively as CWF. Read more about St. Joan of Arc here.
