In the face of cultural misconceptions about what it means to be a woman, in the face of our insecurities, and in the face of our sins, we want to be empowered to be "in the world, but not of the world" -- that is, to actively work to bring about the Kingdom of God in our day-to-day lives. Our hope is this: that through the talks we hear, the community we find, and especially by the sacraments we receive, we will be equipped with grace and practical tools to pursue a daily, living relationship with God and operate in the OVERFLOW of His Holy Spirit.
A model of holy strength and courageous femininity, St. Joan of Arc is the patroness of CWF. Her ardent love of God and desire to do His will, along with her passion and bravery, are virtues that we plan to seek collectively as CWF. Read more about St. Joan of Arc here.
